मंदिर में दर्शनार्थी आते रहे, भक्त जन आते रहे, लेकिन अब उन्हें आरती में उनको मजा नहीं आता था, जो इस घंटा बजाने वाले के समय में आया करता था, कुछ लोग घंटा बजाने वाले को ढूंढते ढूंढते उसके घर पहुंच गए और उससे बिनती की तुम आ जाओ न मंदिर में, तुम वापस से घंटा बजाने लगो वहाँ पर, तो बोलता है मैं नहीं आ सकता आऊंगा तो उनको लगेगा कि मैं नौकरी के लिए आया हु, मुझे पैसो की जरुरत है इस लिए आ रहा हु मैं नहीं आ सकता ।

कुछ लोगो ने एक उपाय किया तो चलो एक छोटी से दुकान खुलवा देते है अगरबत्ती वगैरह की, मंदिर के बहार वो बेचा करना, और जब आरती का समय होगा तब आकर घंटा बजा देना, किसी को नहीं लगेगा कि तुम्हे  नौकरी के लिए या पैसे की जरुरत में तुम वहाँ आये हो ।

ऐसा ही हुआ एक छोटी सी दुकान मंदिर के सामने उसकी खुल गयी, रोज़ सुबह शाम आरती के समय में आता और उसी भक्ति भाव से, उसी रास तल्लीनता से डूबकर घंटा बजाया करता था, कई सालों तक यही चलता रहा, लेकिन इसकी दुकान छोटी की छोटी नहीं रही । इसकी तो आदत ही थी किसी भी काम को दिल से करने की, तो एक दुकान से सात दुकान, सात दुकान से सत्तर दुकान, अब फिर अगरबत्ती बनाने की एक फैक्ट्री ही वहाँ पर  डाल दी, सबसे अमीर आदमी हो गया, मर्सिडीज से आया करता था फैक्ट्री में, फिर भी जाकर घंटा बजाया करता था मंदिर में ।
